I would like to thank the administrator of the site for presenting clear and vivid content on yoga for the benefits of public at large.
Swami Ramdev has exhumed the Indian ancestral science of Pranayam from the grave of darkness, fear and monopoly of a few and presented it in its simplest form for the welfare of the mankind. Swamiji has devised a sequential practise of the 7 Pranayams with allotted time periods for each. Swami Ramdev's Pranayama Package
which includes Seven Asana, Seven Suksham Vayama, Seven Mudras, Zcupressure, Divya Medicines in addition to Seven pranayama for living a disease free and healty life.

Thank you Sam. Glad you enjoyed it. It is good to remember the wide range of experience that children all over the world have.

I enjoyed reading a lot of your recent writing yesterday. Very varied and thought provoking, and amusing. Well done.

This is a wonderful story Teresa. It felt very refreshing reading one of your stories after a while. Though it was intended for 9-11 year olds, it was wonderful to read. I liked it a lot.

Hi Teresa - thank you so much for the wonderful stories on your site.

Our faith community is working on a program for our children where we use stories to highlight the virtues evident in Jesus life. We would like to use the above story (with some adaptations because our target age is quite a bit younger - age 2 to 8 or so). The link to our adaptation is here: http://jesusvirtues.wordpress.com/2009/10/06/ramesh-and-the-parrot-feathers/ I included a link back to your site.

Could you review that and let me know if it is o.k. with you? If you do not want us to use this story, please let me know and I will remove the story before it is used in our monthly ritual.

Thank you again for your great site and wonderful stories.

"This place I love" is the punch line in the story to me.

The story is very subtle. Somehow the chief was able to connect to the future through the boy. It is not through intellect and mind perhaps. May be space has something to do with it. I don’t know it's an enigma to me.

But that in itself is nice. It’s a marvellous riddle, makes us think.

Your spirit guide is wonderful. What superb touch in telling a story. That portrayal of the Chief Thunderbird is delectable. He is the central character in the story isn’t it?

I enjoyed the nuances in the tale immensely. No need to explain further at all.

Delightful story….

What a nice story!

I once tried to awaken the force called Kundalini (the potential energy that is within us) by regulation of breath (Pranayama). Even after intense practice I was unable to do this for a long time. Then I turned to other spiritual practices, though I still continued with the breathing technique to keep in good health. But by then I had started to doubt the very existence of the force and the energy centers in us.

Then one day I had a spontaneous awakening of this force while meditating. I had some trouble controlling it. It is such a powerful force. But anyway, it put my doubts to rest for ever.

The crown center when fully activated will make you like the Buddha, it is said. Your stories on the energy centers made me recall my experience with them.

Thank you for the nice story.
